Vikenco
Vikenco, Aukra, Norway
Rubb completed installation of a Thermohall building for Vikenco at Aukra, Norway. The building is 15m wide by 30m long, with a door in the side and an internal dividing wall.
Since 1973 Vikenco has been a well known supplier of sea food in Norway and to markets in Europe, USA, and the Far East. The company was a pioneer in the salmon farming business and is today, through the Rauma Group, an integrated sea food provider. The supply chain goes all the way from roe production to fully grown fish ready for consumption.
The company also has a fish processing plant, packing facility and its own sales and marketing capacity. Vikenco chose a Rubb storage building due to good insulation properties and flexibility.
